After a taxing season, I sought refuge at the Douglas Inn and Conference Center, anticipating some tranquility and maybe a reviving spa session. The indoor pool and hot tub were indeed a solace, where I unwound and let the stress dissipate. The free in-room WiFi was handy, allowing me to catch up on work amidst the rejuvenation. I also made use of the 24-hour gym to keep up with my marathon training routine, which was a plus. The hotel's spa facilities were a welcomed escape, with the hot tub providing much-needed relaxation. The serene environment lent itself well to unwinding, making my stay truly restorative. While there were hiccups like room key issues, the overall experience was soothing. The Douglas Inn and Conference Center's beach facilities offered a unique touch, even though I didn't indulge this time. For a peaceful retreat with adequate fitness amenities, this place serves its purpose well.
